Dr. Charlie Shea - All together now - coordinating our limbs

Dr. Charlie Shea, expert in figuring out how we move and coordinate our movements, joins us today in the podcast.  We have fun talking about sport, music, and everyday movement and how our brain coordinates all of that movement.

Here's a link to the podcast about the guy who can hear four symphonies at once and give you details about each (it is fascinating!).

Also remember that you can win a free Huffines t-shirt by listening to the podcast and being the first to send us an email with the answer to the question.  And don't think you're too late to win...email us anyway!

Man oh, man! Shaving the sides of a neuron? Tapping out 5/6 rhythms - in minutes! And I caught the subtle "ego side " of Academia: ..." if a researcher has spent forty years figuring out why you can't do something, and then you can be trained to do it in minutes..." Yes , indeed.

Bio feedback. What a great description of the slope of a line, bringing the dots into convergence- and you have the right beat. Calculus in action! Just brilliant. Makes you want to run right out and get some of the wonderful bio feedback equipment that is out there. Thanks Dr. Shea, and you to , Dr. Lightfoot! I am tapping away as we speak...in a 1/3, no 4/5, no 6/8...doggone it; where is his lab?!!! LOL

This podcast is very much useful and helpful as well. I personally found very informative to me. This reward of t-shirt is also encouraging for the people to listen it.

This is one of those short stories that I would be glad to see expanded upon, but alas....Well written, a great theme and engrossing story
