Dr. NiCole Keith, the current president of the American College of Sports Medicine, joins us on the podcast today. She also fills many roles at Indiana University, including the position of Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs in the school of Health & Human Sciences, and a Professor in the Department of Kinesiology. In the podcast, she talks about what ACSM is and her roles at ACSM. Additionally, she dives into the many ways ACSM addresses institutional racism and how they increase diversity in the organization, as well as her experience being the first African American president of ACSM. She tells the incredible story of her journey in the physical activity and wellness career path. Lastly, she gives her inspiring advice on integrating job responsibilities with being a mom and role model for her kids.
